Therefore, efforts for reconstruction are continuing, and the main hall is scheduled to be rebuilt in the fall of 2026. The reconstruction of Shuri Castle is not only a restoration of buildings, but also an important step in connecting Okinawa's history and culture to the future. It is expected that this reconstruction will not only restore the glory of Shuri Castle, but also contribute to the revitalization of the region and further enhance its attractiveness as a tourist destination.
